Our client is an innovative green-tech company and they are seeking a highly motivated Senior or Mid-Level Data Scientist to join their rapidly growing team. Their cutting-edge SaaS platform is transforming how businesses and financial institutions navigate the evolving landscape of sustainable finance regulations. As an experienced Data Scientist you will be a critical part of their R&D efforts. You will stay informed about the latest trends, research, and technologies in generative AI, semantic search, NLP and related fields and conduct advanced research and development activities therein. You will translate your research findings into actionable strategies that drive the development of innovative AI use cases to be integrated into their reporting solutions. What we expect from you: Conduct advanced research in the field of generative AI and NLP. Develop AI solutions that can understand and generate coherent, contextually relevant text based on various data sources. Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess and curate datasets for training and fine-tuning generative AI models. Ensure data quality and integrity to produce high-performing models. Experiment with different model architectures, techniques, and hyperparameters to optimize model performance in terms of coherence, creativity, and efficiency. Develop robust evaluation metrics and methodologies to assess the quality, fluency, and coherence of generated text. Iterate on models based on evaluation results and user feedback. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and domain experts to integrate generative AI models into our products and services. Provide technical expertise and insights to guide product development. What we are looking for: Having an entrepreneurial mindset is the most important thing! Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with a focus on NLP and AI. Working experience or other demonstrable credentials are great too. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in NLP. Experience with bringing AI solutions to production. Strong Python programming capabilities. Experience in optimizing code for performance and robustness, especially in the context of generative models, is beneficial. Generative AI Expertise: Some experience with generative models and techniques, with a solid understanding of the underlying algorithms and principles. Previous work with libraries such as PyTorch, Langchain, and OpenAI is highly desirable. Deep Learning Frameworks: Proficiency in building, training, and evaluating models using PyTorch. Familiarity with other frameworks, such as TensorFlow. Solid understanding of NLP concepts, including embeddings, attention mechanisms, and language modeling. Hands-on experience with large-scale dataset preprocessing, model training, and fine-tuning. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges in generative AI model development.
